We are pleased to announce two new HADA members:
The Gilded Owl and Looking Glass Events. The brainchild of interior designer Andy Goldsborough, The Gilded Owl is an online journal exploring craftsmanship in modern and contemporary design, fine art, fashion and music. Inspired by authenticity, ingenuity and above all quality, Andy and contributors Elizabeth Moore ~ Art, Erin Hazelton ~ Fashion, and David Shebiro ~ Music, continually investigate subjects of fascination and enlighten their readers as to what makes the Beautiful, Beautiful.

While collaborating on the renovation and redesign of a 1785 federal style house in Hudson, New York Andy and Elizabeth co-conceived a new vision for a unique retail space. After years of neglect and stripping the house back to its stunning origins, the rooms unfolded as a sequence of spaces that would allow the two and a half year old blog to become a real living gallery. The designers and artist that have inspired the Gilded Owl founders to write about and photograph the details of their exemplary work will be harmoniously exhibited together. Thus allowing visitors to be inspired by design and the way creative forces influence the way we live.

Take a look at our online journal and visit our space in Hudson at 105 Warren Street. Store hours are Fri & Sat 11-6, Sun 12-5 or by appt. Looking Glass Events is a full service boutique event planning and coordination company. Our goal is to not only help you design and build your dream wedding, party, business or public event, but to make the process easy and enjoyable for you.
