Finnish glass by RIIHIMAEN LASI, an Italian glass fish by EMPOLI, along with Danish and American glass pieces fill the table. Photo 1-V4 This re-imagined steel work table base, powder coated in a soft shiny silver, is topped by a 35.5" x 78.75" rectangle of half-inch-thick glass with rounded corners. It works as well as a large writing desk as it does to serve dinner for eight.

Vintage glass in strong shapes and colors add jewel like shimmer to minimal monochromatic rooms, whether you are an avid collector or in need of a single vase our curated selection is something to see.

The curved three-legged chrome chair upholstered in midnight blue French faux fur adds great color in a fun shape and is surprisingly comfortable.

The brushed and polished chrome 1970's table lamp is 6" square by 30" tall including the Dior gray linen shade.

A crisp white-lacquered two-drawer side chest, 22" wide,18" deep by 25.5" high is finished front and back providing surface and storage for your living room, bedroom, or any room.

The framed BELKIS AYO'N artwork in black, white and shades of gray adds contrast, mystery and a touch of humor. The untitled piece from 1996 shown is 36.5" by 26". Image 18_v3 This large 1960's dark walnut and white glass breakfront and bar has six storage areas with doors that slide or pop open to contain everything you need for your dining or media room plus you can mix yourself a drink. The top piece is 66" wide, 15.5" deep and 36.5" high, and can be hung on the wall. The base measures 72" wide, 18" deep and 28.5" high - add a piece of white glass to the top and you have a functional sideboard. Image 10_d Constructivist-inspired custom-designed storage by FR GILLETTE.

Modular stacked wood containers arranged to suit your needs add an architectural element to any room. The unit design can be fashioned to stand free to define a space or against a wall where space is limited. The white-painted unit pictured is approximately 5' wide and 10' high with mirrored doors, sliding panels and open display areas. It can be configured to hide your media or display a flat-screen TV. We have also done versions in wood veneer, wall covering or wallpaper to match a room so it will virtually disappear.

The "Evocative" pendant lighting fixture is another FR Gillette design that can be customized in terms of shape, size and number of lights. The one pictured is 60" from ceiling to tip, the ceiling plate measures 12" in diameter. This design is primarily handmade and can be fabricated in a variety of metals or endless paint color choices. Each pendant, sconce or floor lamp we create becomes uniquely yours.

The large 15.5" white glass dish decorated in a black and gold apple & pear pattern is by GEORGES BRIARD. Image 11_5 The "Hazel" dining table is named after the client it was originally designed for. The base is made of 1" square solid steel 22" wide by 78" long and 28" high with a recycled 1" thick marble top, 26" wide by 84" long. A matching marble rectangle stands vertically within the rectangular steel leg. This table design has endless possibilities: base size or shape can be adjusted to suit your needs. Tops in stone, glass, wood or lacquer are all up for discussion. To-edit4 This beautifully re-imagined black-lacquered bar with a white glass diamond door detail is 48" wide by 39.5" high by 17" deep. It has a bar section with a drop-down work surface and two storage sections, one with tambour doors. 0011_FRG_edited3 I am also very excited to announce an upcoming exhibit featuring
the work of Cuban artist Belkis Ayón... Belkis-2 Belkis Ayón (Havana, 1967-1999) died at the age of thirty-two, leaving behind a body of work of considerable importance for the history of contemporary printmaking.

After months of discussion with the collector I was given the green light to announce that FRG OBJECTS & DESIGN GALLERY will be showing a collection of visionary works rarely seen in the USA by the Cuban artist Belkis Ayón. The print paintings done from 1988-1999 reveal a surprising array of influences. Imagery and narratives from the Afro-Cuban religion Abaku'a and Christian iconography and ceremony illuminate her own personal mythologies. This vision, along with her stunning use of calligraphy on a heroic scale, brought her international acclaim. I cannot give you an opening date at this time but I assure you that the moment that day is set you will know.

Here is an example of this extraordinary work (above):
Siempre vuelvo, 1994 by Belkis Ayón

Stay tuned - I will be announcing the dates for this exhibition very soon!
