Claus Bolby Wall Sconces at Arenskjold


Claus Bolby designed spectacular acrylic art lamps in Denmark in 1960's. A former aerodynamics engineer, he designed in a style of reliefs and collage reminiscent of the paintings of the period. His company was phased out in 1995.

The Harp Chair


The remarkable Harp Chair by Danish designer Jorgen Hovelskov is a sculptural object that’s nevertheless comfortable to sit in. The chair’s "Harp" form was based on the bow section of Viking ships. Two Harp Chairs are now available at Arenskjold Antiques, one in birch, one ebonized. Price: $5,500 each.
