Taste of Hudson this Saturday
HADA Members 3FortySeven and Ca’ Mea Ristorante will be participating in the 5th annual Taste of Hudson on September 7th!
The annual Taste of Hudson food festival will be held on Saturday, September 7th from 11am until 2pm. The event, organized by the members of the BeLo 3rd group, features over 25 of Hudson’s restaurants, cafes, bakeries and food retailers.
Now in its fifth year, the festival has grown significantly. According to Juliette Crill, Vice President of BeLo 3rd, last year’s crowd was huge. “We started small the first year with around 300 people attending but the event has really taken off with hundreds of people enjoying everything from chocolate covered bacon to falafel.”
The “tastings” of select menu items from Hudson’s finest eateries highlight the city’s diverse cuisine. Food lovers can graze their way through appetizers, sushi, select teas & desserts, cheeses, ethnic and comfort foods, baked goods, soups and chocolate. “Nearly all of Hudson’s eateries are participating,” states Crill. “It should be a delicious day under the tent. After all who doesn’t like to eat!”
Tickets are sold on location the day of the event. Participants, thus far, include 3FortySeven, American Glory, Baba Louie’s, Bruno’s, Café Le Perche, Ca Mea, Cascades, DA/BA ,Helsinki Hudson, Hudson Cake Company, Italian Market, Olde Hudson, Park Pizza and Falafal, Red Dot, Relish Hudson, Savoia, Tanzy’s ,Taste of the Caribbean, Taste of India, Vasilow’s, Verdigris Tea/ Chocolate Bar, Vico, Wasabi , West Indie Food and Wunderbar.
