The exhibit mainly forcuses on Africa and its unique forms of currency... Stone bracelets from Mali, Kissi pennies (an inspiration for Giaometti), shovels, bronze bracelets, beads and Kuba clothes. There will pre-Civil War American currencies, tenant farmer store coins, stocks and bonds. A wide range of prices so everyone can afford a piece from this show.
The opening is March 26th from 6pm to 8pm, and will run through the end of April. The gallery, located at 610 Warren Street, is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 5; Mondays by chance or appointment. Click here for more items at david dew bruner design.
