Directions

Location, location, location:

Less than one hour south of Albany, two hours north of New York City, and three hours west of Boston, the City of Hudson is very convenient to visit. There is an Amtrak rail station right downtown. The New York State Thruway (I-87) is just a few miles across the Rip Van Winkle Bridge. The Mass Pike and I-90 pass through Columbia County about 20 minutes north of Hudson. The Taconic Parkway from Manhattan is one of the most scenic drives in the nation. And both the Columbia County Airport and Albany International can whisk in either small plane or jumbo jet passengers. Below are some resources to make your trip even easier:

From New York City:

Take either the Henry Hudson, Sprain and/or Saw Mill parkways to the Taconic Parkway. Approximately 100 miles north of Manhattan, exit at the Ancram/Hudson off-ramp. Continue about 5 minutes north on Route 82, which will join at the first major light with Route 9. Continue another 5 minutes on Route 9 to the next light; turn right on Route 9, which will bring you on Worth Avenue to the top of Warren Street.
